Casa de Cristal

This modern/contemporary home is your perfect family beach home, with floor to ceiling window panels across the full exterior, patio side, to enjoy the wonderful Caribbean view. It is a large open concept, with main floor office, laundry facilities, bathroom, kitchen, island eating area, living room and dining room. You will have a perfect view wherever you are in this house. The two large bedrooms both have ensuites, his and her walk through closets and the ability to curl up in bed and watch the sunsets. Perfect for added privacy with the California split design, bedrooms on opposite sides of the house. Good rental potential with this layout.

This contempory design enjoys a sunken living room with Trey ceilings, giving the impression of indoor living right on the beach. It is open and airy and offers locally handcrafted cupboards with eating island off the kitchen. Separate dining room area, with a view from anywhere in the house. The high ceilings and wall of glass help keep the interior cool during those hot summer days, allowing cool breezes throughout. It is shown with marble-like tiles but can easily be changed to wood or painted concrete to suit your style.

The two sunken bedrooms in this house are very large and the same size -- you'll have two master bedrooms in this house. Large open area with a 16' x 17' kitchen with eating island and a separate dining area of 18' x 18'. You'll love the glass railing with steps leading down to the 24' x 35' sunken living room that has a full wall of glass panels that open onto the patio deck. This amazing beach house can be made smaller or larger to accommodate your individual tastes.

Casa Alnilam

This neo-colonial style house is perfect for larger back lots or corner canal lot of Cerros Sands, because of the 360 degree turret bonus room. It was aptly named for a star in Orion's Belt (in the Constellation Orion). The tower room allows a great view of the Corozal Bay, watching the sunsets and looking at stars. The bonus turret room can be used as an office, extra bedroom, or simply for entertaining. It is a perfect family home with 2 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, large kitchen with a dining room in the turret and a game room. It has plenty of storage room. You can increase your rental potential by adding a third bedroom in the tower room. Each area are can be locked off for peace of mind while you are away.

You get 500 sq. ft. of bonus living space boasting a 360 degree view of the bay. A large open kitchen with an island and a large dining area of 15' x 15'. It has an optional infinity pool 24' x 18'. This plan is very versatile and great for family, fun and entertainment.

Serena Luna

The Serena Luna is a luxury custom built home. Ocean front property, with optional infinity pool and extra decking.

Unique palapa style home. Built with concrete walls and roof, solid wood beams with decorative thatch roof covering. Built 8 ft above ground to help keep it cool and protect against possible water damage. The unique shape helps to withstand strong winds. It has large open, airy living spaces with plenty of outdoor living space and boasts an outdoor pool with covered patio gazebo.

Each palapa has access to the patio area and deck has private stairs to the beach. Each palapa can have a separate lock off door for added rental potential. This design can be changed to octagon or square shaped to suit your personal needs or style.

This rendering of the center palapa shows the open airy design of this custom home. Featuring locally crafted kitchen cupboards, center column stonework and floor tile. Large kitchen and living area with laundry facilities and main floor bathroom. High open ceilings with solid wood beams, add to the openness of this design. Floor to ceiling windows across the front for that spectacular ocean view with direct access to both deck and ocean via the large patio doors. Mitchell-Moody and Associates of Belize City at the request of Cerros Sands have prepared five homes for your consideration. Each one of these models has been designed with consideration of the building restrictions for Cerros Sands. In keeping with our Mayan Heritage each model is named after a Mayan Historic site in Belize.

These Single Family Home Sizes range from 1800 to just over 2500 square feet and modifications are being done for a 3000 square foot home.

Altun Ha — 3 Bedrooms / 2 Bath

Thought given to the Mayan Influence of the Cerros peninsula, we felt a very comfortable home of Mayan Design may be of interest to some of our potential customers. The Altun Ha is the well appointed home we are considering our entry level model. Gorgeous hardwoods abound throughout this home.

Caracol — 3 Bedrooms / 2 Bath

The he clean lines and contemporary styling of the Caracol facade hint at the modern design of this 3 bedroom, 2 bath home. The understated front porch gives way to the common area, which combines the foyer, living area and dining area into a singular space that can be segmented and utilized any number of ways.

The centrally located staircase leads to a wide open great room that’s large enough to accommodate almost any use.

The Caracol also includes a large deck in back for entertaining, cooking out or simply enjoying the fresh sea air. A fully enclosed garage rounds out the Caracol design, keeping your vehicle clean and providing even more storage space.

Lamanai — 3 Bedrooms / 2 Baths

The Lamanai exterior features an angular design, with peaked windows and roofs giving it a more classical appearance. This property has 3 bedrooms, 2 full baths, also featuring a large decking area in the rear.

Xunantunich — 3 Bedrooms / 2 Baths

Xanantunich’s exterior is a bit different celebrating the traditional Mayan architecture, with an enclosed entryway, frieze treatments and a grand front archway. As you might expect, the residences at Cerros Sands are designed to make the most of their enviable location.

Cahal Pech — 3 Bedrooms / 2 Baths

The striking single story Cahal Pech combines traditional Mayan architecture with modern elegance. The tapered bases, decorative friezes, recessed windows and grand entryway pay homage to Belize’s past, while the interior exemplifies more contemporary design.

The spacious primary living area includes recesses suitable for a dining area, study, sitting room etc. While the extended kitchen area leaves a room for a breakfast nook. A nearby utility space conveniently accommodates laundry machines or serves as extra storage.

In one wing the two guest bedrooms are conveniently separated by a full bath. For increased privacy, the super sized master suit occupies the opposite side of the home, with a large private bath and walk in closet.

Finally the large rear porch is an inviting place to barbecue, plant a garden or string a hammock.
