q01Q:   Is there water, electricity and waste treatment on the Development?

A:   As with most areas in the Caribbean water is harvested off roofs and stored in cisterns or generated with reverse osmosis systems, which convert sea water inexpensively to purified fresh drinking water. However Cerros Sands offers a hybrid system wherein purified water will be delivered to every serviced lot.

Electricity hook up will also be available for each residential dwelling. Some units will use either solar power to augment power consumption.

Specially designed septic systems will be required to treat human waste and composting bins will be used for compostable materials.

Recyclables such as glass, metals and plastics will be picked up and disposed of properly.

q02Q:   What are the future plans for use or development for the rest of the Cerros Sands? Are there any future plans for other subdivisions?

A:   There are plans for a total of 4 Phases. All development will be under a “finite” plan to assure appreciation of investment. Please keep in mind though, we will be preserving approximately 10-12% the entire area. Preservation is our mission. Please visit the Eco-Village section, there you will see our proposed site plan for intended support systems.

q03Q:   How much of the area will actually be preserved?

A:   The country of Belize requires approximately 10% be preserved.

q04Q:   May I drive a car through the area?

A:   Yes, however vehicular traffic will be restricted to parcel owners or visitors, and Cerros Sands employees. Horse trails will also provide alternative means of transportation.

q05Q:   What kind of paths/trails will there be around the Development?

A:   Most of the trails/paths around Cerros Sands will be dirt and sand, but will be suitable and wide enough for golf cart-type travel. Special Equestrian trails will also be part of the overall design.

q06Q:   May I bring pets to the area?

A:   Yes domestic animals are permitted. However they too must follow the rules of responsible behavior.
